On the 4th of November 2017, Masjid Khalid was overloaded with so much fun and excitement as we held our 100th Anniversary Carnival for the first time! An estimated 500 guests of diverse ethnicities and faith groups were present. The aim of the event was to strengthen the harmony of our multi-racial and multi-cultural society.
The guests satisfied their taste buds with an all Singaporean traditional delicacies such as Vadeh, Muah Chee and Putu Piring. They also took part in the traditional game stations like Capteh, Batu Seremban and Kuti-Kuti. There were doorgifts for all and we concluded the event with some lucky draws for our lucky winners.
